The first time I listened to ‘She Like Electric’ by Smoosh, I thought how those two preteen’s were simply a novelty, although I do appreciate the absolute originality of the ‘Free to Stay’ piano and it’s probably one of my many favorite songs. But something about this album has grown on me and I am coming to adore it.
I have been pretty happy lately. It’s a really, really nice change! And I can’t pinpoint it to any one specific thing, or even several things. Odd, yeah?
Sometimes in my late night internet escapades, I find these blogs that scare the heck out of me. You’d be surprised how many 20-something, college graduate, smart people do not have jobs and are wondering how they’re going to pay the rent this month. It makes me feel like I should do something practical, like… teaching. Or medical. :-O
